ECON and the Central and Eastern European Citizens Network is deeply grateful to the following organizations and funders for their support.

• Diakonia of the Protestant Church of the German Rhineland (Diakonisches Werk der Evangelischen Kirche): supported three 5-day community organizing trainings in 2006, 2007, and 2008 with participants from 9 European countries at the Le Pont Meeting Center for Protestant Churches in Paris, France.
• Charles Stewart Mott Foundation – USA:  provided support for visits from American community organizer trainers and consultants to Germany, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Ukraine in 2009-2010.
• Grundtvig Fund of the European Union:  provided support to organizations in Germany, Hungary, Poland, and Romania for site visits, joint meetings and trainings, and local work related to community organizing in 2009-2012.
